The City of Albany will pursue opportunities to incorporate art in the public domain within Private Developments Council Developments Government Developments undertaken in the natural and built environments within its boundaries and with reference to The City of Albanys Albany Insight. This will be achieved through the aims objectives and principles as stated in this policy and administered by the Marketing Committee on behalf of the City of Albany. |

Asbestos Disposal Guidelines |
The City of Albany maintains licences for disposal of waste at designated landfill sites. One of the conditions on those licences is that the disposal of asbestos is within work safe guidelines. These Guidelines will be enforced as of 1st October 2008.
Bakers Junction Waste Management Facility is licensed to accept both types of asbestos, friable and non friable. |

Heritage Conservation Incentives Grants Guidelines |
The main purpose of the grants is to fund, in part or total, minor conservation works and other related projects to privately owned places that are heritage
listed. Heritage listing includes those places on the City of Albany’s Municipal Heritage Inventory or the State Register of Heritage Places. Grants will be
considered on the basis of there being no alternative sources of funding available for the work/project identified from other organisations or agencies. |

The City of Albany will consider applications for the installation of a memorial or memorial seat where Such memorial or memorial seat recognises residents who have made a significant contribution to the Albany community The person being recognised has been deceased for a period of at least 3 years and The location sought for the placement of the memorial or memorial seat does not compromise existing Council policies.
