When viewing local laws using information obtained from the Department’s local law register, please note that the information contained within this register may not be completely accurate or up to date. The internet register was created in 1996 using information extracted from handwritten records and, as such, records prior to 1996 may have been entered incorrectly.

	Animals Local Law 2001	Published in the Government Gazette on 15 January 2002.
	Draft Meeting Procedures Local Law	The City of Albany proposes a Local Law relating to the conduct of meetings. The purpose of this local law is to provide a set of procedures to assist in the conduct of Council and committee meetings. The intended result of this Local Law is: a. Improved decision-making by the Council; b. More efficient and orderly conduct of Council meetings; c. Greater community participation and understanding of Council business; and d. A more open and accountable local government. Please address electronic submissions to: E-mail or post to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Albany, PO Box 484, Albany WA 6331 by 24 February 2012. A copy of the proposed Local Law is available at the City of Albany's administration offices at 102 North Road, Yakamia from 9am to 5pm weekdays, or from the City of Albany website: www.albany.wa.gov.au.

	Fencing Local Law 2010	Published in the Government Gazette 24 September 2010
	Health (Food) Local Laws 2009	City of Albany Health (Eating-Houses and Itinerant Food Vendors) Local Laws 2001 are repealed with effect 23 October 2009. Certificates and Registration is now administered through the Food Act 2008.
	Health Local Laws 2001	Published in the Government Gazette, 17 April 2002. No. 67. Special. Note: Health (Eating-House and Itinerant Food Vendors) Local Laws 2001 Repealed.
	Jetties, Bridges & Boat Pens Local Law 2004 (Amendment) 2005	Local Law published in the Government Gazette 31 January 2005 and Amendment published 17 February 2006. Council resolved on 16 March 2010 to give state-wide public notice to review the Jetties, Bridges and Boat Pens Local Law 2010.
	Keeping and Welfare of Cats Local Law 2009	Until an Amendment Local Law is prepared which formally includes the undertakings this version should be used rather than the Gazetted Version of 9/6/09.
	Local Government Property Local Law 2011	Published, Friday, 9 March 2012, No. 34 Special.
	Local Law Relating to the Former Perth 2001	Published in the Government Gazette 29 October 2001. The review of this local law was initiated on the 16 March 2010. Council resolved on 16 March 2010 to give state-wide public notice to review the HMAS Perth Local Law 2010.
	Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2009	Published in the Government Gazette 12 Feb 2010. Amended 18 May 2010. Amendment dated 18/05/2010 In accordance with the feedback received from the Joint Standing Committee on delegated legislation, council resolved on 18 May 2010: THAT Council GIVE A WRITTEN UNDERTAKING to the Joint Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation that the City of Albany will: a) make the typographical amendments; b) delete clause 2.9; c) delete Item 10 in Schedule 2; d) not rely on clause 2.9 or Item 10 in Schedule 2 in the interim; and e) make the amendments within two years from the date of the Committee letter
	Sand Drift Prevention and Abatement Local Law 2009	Published in the Government Gazette 12 Feb 2010
	Signs Amendment Local Law 2008	Local Law published in the Government Gazette on 23 February 2007 and amendment published 26 September 2008.
	Standing Orders Local Law 2009	Until an Amendment Local Law is prepared which formally includes the undertakings this version should be used rather than the Gazetted Version. This local law was amended on the 15/09/09.
