Restart A Heart Day 2018
16 October 2018 10:00am - 16 October 2018 14:00 PM
Join us at Restart a Heart Day and participate in the CPR Challenge.
The first of the external defibrillators in the City of Albany as part of this program was installed this week on the outside of the library building.
On Tuesday 16 October St John Great Southern will be formally launching the St John Safe Albany project at a Restart a Heart day event in the Town Square from 10am-2.00pm.
I would like to invite you to attend the event and the formalities at 10.30am.
The event will be filled with fun and information on the importance of Defibrillation and quality CPR and the difference that these can make to the survival of people suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
Throughout the event we will be having a CPR challenge and our brand new manikins which provide feedback on your CPR. We will have staff and volunteers at the event to provide training and information and to ensure you have a bit of fun.
And best of all, for those with a competitive streak, you and your team can compete against each other and against the other winners. Our fantastic new CPR Manikins donated by Laerdal, link into a Race App, where the best CPR sees your ambulance make it to the finish line first. There are great prizes to win and you get to see how effective your CPR is.
