City of Albany and Centro Albany 2009 Christmas Pageant and Concert

This year the Christmas Pageant and Concert promises to be bigger and better than ever. Featuring a “Through the Ages” theme, the young (and the young at heart) can line the York Street and watch as floats themed with different decades, centuries (or even the future) parade past in a whrilwind of Christmas Cheer. There will even be a special visit from Santa who will come all the way from the North Pole to wish everyone a merry Christmas. Following the Pageant the family concert will commence in Alison Hartman Gardens, with the turning on of the Christmas Lights, Music, Pantomime and much more. The pageant event will be accompanied by markets, food stalls and more. Be a part of Albany's most magical night of the year.
