LP.PLA.11 - Review of the City's Heritage Survey and Heritage List (Closed)


A Heritage Survey is an acknowledgement of a place’s heritage value. A Heritage List is part of the City’s Local Planning Scheme and comprises those places on the Heritage Survey with considerable and/or exceptional heritage value.

The City of Albany advises that the Heritage Survey and Heritage List will be on public advertising from Monday 9 April and conclude on Friday 3 April 2020.

If your property is proposed to be included on the Heritage Survey and/or Heritage List you can make an appointment to meet with the City’s Heritage Advisor on Tuesday 10 March during business hours and after hours and on Wednesday 11 March during business hours. Appointments are also available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with the City’s Heritage Officer during the advertising period. The following Community Update provides detailed information on the Heritage Survey and Heritage List. You can also download the Heritage Survey, which lists all the places proposed to be included on the Survey and the Heritage List, which lists all the places proposed to be included in the List.
