The City of Albany is supporting Anti-Poverty Week by hosting a range of activities aimed at increasing awareness and supporting those in our community experiencing financial hardship. Join a free Op Shop Bus or Walking Tour or help build a Little Free Library at Albany MenShed!
Little Libraries Building Workshop
No matter if you’re handy with power tools or have no building knowledge at all, we welcome all to come down with your little one(s) and help put together, build and decorate more little free libraries. (Facebook Event Page)

Free OP Shop Bus Tour
RSVP to a great FREE day out. Visit some of your favourite OP Shops and learn about how funds raised in-store help give back to the community. Sit back, relax and let us do the driving while you enjoy meeting new friends and finding some bargains. (Facebook Event Page)

MeetUp Albany Free OP Shop Walking Tour
A Walking OP Shop Tour will also be hosted by MeetUp Albany for those who want to get their step count up between designated shopping stops.
Our goal is to visit as many OP Shops we can (within walking distance). The total walking distance to and from locations is 1.9km (but depart whenever you'd like).
