Sailability Albany is a very successful program that offers sailing opportunities in keel-boats and dinghies for people with disability. Typically during the sailing the sailing season over 50 people gather at PRSC on a Thursday morning to ensure that the program continues. As well as a large group of people with disability and their support workers/carers, there are many volunteers as crew on boats and on-shore to provide a safe and enjoyable sailing experience for everyone, irrespective of ability.
Our program can only continue because of the contribution too of the broader community. The support from the community has included institutional grants, personal donations as well as donations of time by individuals and groups.
