New Year’s Eve is an important time of celebration for everyone. Combine this with the universal nature of fireworks and you have an event that attracts multigenerational and multi-cultural participation. Held in the Anzac Peace Park, family members and friends are able to join together to share in the passing of one year and the welcoming of another.

The action all starts from 5pm where families and friends are invited to participate in interactive activities, enjoy local live music, grab a bite to eat and/or just to gather with a picnic to relax and celebrate with their loved ones.

There are two separate fireworks displays, 9pm and midnight.
