The Restricted Burning Time in the Northeast Sector of the City of Albany has been lifted, as of today, Tuesday 22nd April 2025, where burn permits are no longer required. All other conditions under the Bush Fire Act 1954 and must maintained.  The Southwest Sector of the City of Albany is still in the Restricted Burning Period up to and including Wednesday 14th May 2025.

CALLING ALL CREATIVES

As part of the 2025 Maritime Festival, the City of Albany is staging the annual Albany Maritime Art Exhibition. Artists are invited to create works inspired by the maritime environment. Whether it’s the vast ocean, coastal life, or the rhythm of the sea, we encourage expressions that capture the beauty, power, and mystery of the sea.

Entries close: 5pm 30 April or once all 70 entries have been allocated (whichever comes first)

Please note that entries received after the closing date and time will NOT be accepted. No late changes will be accepted.
