Albany Public Library members can instantly read, watch and listen to over 900,000 titles for free thanks to the City of Albany partnership with content platform hoopla.

Audiobooks, eBooks, comics, music, movies and TV are among the range of borrowable items that can be streamed from any computer at any time.

Alternatively, users can download the free hoopla app for iOS and Android onto their mobile device to download up to six items per calendar month with no waiting time to borrow these items.

Manager Arts and Culture Paul Nielsen said this partnership maximises the power of a library card.
“hoopla has pioneered a unique model that allows members to borrow content immediately from anywhere,” he said.

“The hoopla digital collection includes popular entertainment and educational content, such as hit TV series, newly released music, bestselling audiobooks and eBooks, and much more.

“We are excited to be able to offer our Albany library members a vast digital catalogue that they can access at a time that suits them, from wherever they please.”

All content is accessible via hoopla digital’s mobile app and online at www.hoopladigital.com.au or find out more on the Library website at www.library.albany.wa.gov.au
