Planned Burn | Cheyne Road

The City of Albany wish to advise residents within the Cheyne Road area that a hazard reduction burn will be carried out on Tuesday 6 August.

Unfortunately, some residents will be subjected to smoke which the City will endeavour to keep to a minimum.

The City of Albany uses prescribed burns to maintain the biodiversity of the wide range of ecosystems in City reserves and to reduce fuel loads so that wildfires are not as destructive or extensive close to built up areas.
