Proposed Surrender and New Lease - Portion Crown Reserve 22698, Emu Point

Council, at its meeting held on 26 July 2022 resolved to support a surrender of lease and replace with a new lease to JS & KP Marwick as trustee for the Marwick Family Trust at Emu Point.

It is a requirement of section 3.58 (3) and (4) of the Local Government Act 1995 that the City disclose the following information for public consideration:

Tenant: JS & KP Marwick as trustee for the Marwick Family Trust
Address: Portion of Lot 1461 Mermaid Ave, Emu Point being 372sqm
Market Rent Value: $43,000 per annum (exclusive of GST and outgoings) in accordance with a market valuation dated 6 July 2022
Term: 5 years and one further term option of 5 years

Submissions on the proposed surrender and new lease can be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Albany, PO Box 484, Albany WA 6331 or emailed to staff@albany.wa.gov.au by no later than 5pm, Friday 19 August 2022.
