From large-scale regional events that bring visitation to the region, to grassroots community events that celebrate community spirit, our identity, diversity and heritage.

The City of Albany organises a range of annual and special events for our residents and visitors to enjoy, but also encourages and supports others to run events in Albany too.

Albany is an ideal place to hold events. We have all the facilities and infrastructure needed to hold events of any size, from festivals to concerts, adventure sports and everything in between.

Food Vendors 

Expressions of interest are OPEN NOW.

The City of Albany delivers a diverse cultural program of annual events including festivals, concerts and children’s events. If you are a food / beverage vendor with quality offerings and exceptional presentation the City of Albany welcomes your expression of interest to participate in the 2024 Community Events Program.

Food vendors can register their interest by completing the following Food Vendor Expression of Interest (EOI) Form. Vendors that submit an EOI will be included in the City’s food vendor database for consideration ahead of each event.

Maritime Festival

Expressions of interest OPEN NOW.

Now in its fourth year, the Maritime Festival has consolidated its place as a key annual event, cultivating the region’s cultural audience and delving into the city’s maritime legacy in preparation for the 2026 Bicentenary.

The City of Albany’s Events Team invites commercial operators, community groups, local businesses, emerging and established performers and entertainers who would like to be a part of the 2024 Festival Program to submit an Expression of Interest.

If you are an individual, group or organisation wishing to participate in the festival, or if you have a ready-made act/activity or a brand new idea to celebrate our maritime heritage, we would love to hear from you!

G+B Exhibition

Expressions of interest OPEN MONDAY 22 APRIL.

As part of the 2024 Maritime Festival, the City of Albany is staging the annual G & B Exhibition. Artists are invited to develop and enter new works that have been inspired by our maritime environment and show a predominance of green and blue within their artwork.

SCULPT, PAINT, STITCH, COLLAGE, PHOTOGRAPH, WELD, WEAVE – your choice!

The City of Albany’s Events Team invites Great Southern emerging and established artists who would like to be a part of the 2024 Exhibition to submit an Expression of Interest.

Only the first 50 entries will be accepted for the G+B exhibition 2024
