    Other recycling opportunities

Apart from the items you can put in your kerbside recycling bin or drop off at Fossicker's, keep a look out for other drop off points around town for specialised recycling programs.

    These include:

    • Albany Public Library has a recycling station for batteries, mobile phones, reading glasses and postage stamps.
    • B-cycle is Australia's official battery recycling scheme with convenient collection points at a number of retailers in Albany.
    • Officeworks coordinates a national recycling program in their stores for e-waste and stationery items.
    • Check out TerraCycle for a list of community collection hubs which accept particular items including oral care items and coffee capsules. You can also register to return some items to TerraCycle direct.
