Please join us for Sound Advice, workshop 11 of The Business Side of Arts workshops at the Vancouver Arts Centre on Thursday 18 April from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Registrations essential.
Sound Advice
Basics for early-career musicians, including:
- How to create a stage plot and tech rider
- How to work with the production crew
- Tech terminology
- Booking gigs
- Accessing career development opportunities
Workshop presented by local music industry facilitator (TBC).
The Business Side of Arts is a series of professional development workshops designed to equip local artists and creatives with the business, marketing and practical skills required to support their success as an arts practitioner. Workshops will be delivered by Albany Business Centre, local specialist arts practitioners and City of Albany Arts & Culture team staff.
