The Children Dance workshops - The Creation of Now

Southern Edge Arts is seeking 14 children aged 8 - 12 years to perform as ‘The Children’ in The Creation of Now. Choreographed by dance artist, Annette Carmichael, this group performs a ‘game-based’ dance where teams either try to protect or capture a baby doll. This vibrant, fun dance is suitable for children with no prior dance training.

The choreography will be created in collaboration with the children and features small group work, solos and mass movement.

All rehearsals happen in the October School Holidays and performances are 10, 11, and 12 October.

You must register to be involved. Workshops are free but a $20 membership fee is required if not already a member.
