The Unrestricted Burning Period for the NORTHEAST SECTOR of the City of Albany has been varied and will be extended up to and including 14 October 2025.
The SOUTHWEST SECTOR Unrestricted and Restricted periods remain unchanged.
The City of Albany’s Bulk Waste Collection is a convenient service facilitated by our waste contractor to help residents dispose of large volumes of waste.
The 2025 collection is now complete. The next Bulk Green Waste Collection is planned for 2026 and Bulk Hard Waste Collection in 2027. More details will be available closer to the time.
Until the bulk waste collection, there are other options to dispose of unwanted bulky items which include:
