National Assistive Technology Awareness Day

Past Event

Assistive technology (AT) is any item, piece of equipment, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of people with disabilities and older adults.
Join us as we explore the different ways we can use technology to assist people with vision, hearing, cognitive or physical impairment, as well as tools that can make using technology easier.

Come along and learn about:
- functions of computers, smartphones and tablets that can aid accessibility
- specialised software for specific impairments
- Physical tools that can make using computers and other devices easier
