Notification of Upcoming Nightworks on Albany Port Road (Hanrahan Rd)

Main Roads Western Australia will be installing a Fauna Crossing on Albany Port Road (Hanrahan Rd), in the City of Albany. The planned installation works are expected to take place from late August to 10 September 2025, dependent on weather and any other circumstances beyond our control.

The installation works will take place from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 6pm, a brief road closure is required to string cables across the road; to limit disruption to businesses and traffic this brief closure will possibly take place between the hours of 8pm to 5am (if required).

Due to the nature of these works, traffic management will be in place for the duration of the installation works, this will include single lane closures on Albany Port Rd (Hanrahan Rd), and temporary speed reductions, to ensure the safety of the workers and road users.
