Notification of Upcoming Nightworks on Albany Port Road (Princess Royal Drive)

Main Roads Western Australia will be undertaking maintenance works on Albany Port Road (Princess Royal Drive), in the City of Albany, conducting pavement repairs from Carlisle Street to Bolt Terrace. These planned night works are expected to take place from 13 October to 14 November 2025, dependent on weather and any other circumstances beyond our control.

To limit disruption to businesses and traffic, these night works are expected to take place during non-working hours between 6pm and 6am Sunday through to Thursday.

Please be advised that heavy machinery will be in operation during the works, which may result in elevated noise levels in the area. All activities will be conducted in accordance with an approved Noise Management Plan, aimed at minimising noise impacts on nearby residents and businesses as much as reasonably practicable.

Due to the nature of these works, traffic management will be in place for the duration of the project, this will include single lane closures on Albany Port Road (Princess Royal Drive), and temporary speed reductions, to ensure the safety of the workers and road users.
