Middleton Beach Foreshore Enhancement

ELLEN COVE AMPHITHEATRE :

Asset renewal works will commence in the Ellen Cove amphitheatre in August 2022. 

The amphitheatre will be fenced off with no access from Marine Drive or the foreshore promenade.  

A site storage compound will also be fenced off. 

Works will include structural repairs and renewal of stone retaining walls and furniture, following by signage and interpretation installation.  

The jetty and boardwalk will remain open but some modifications to access may be required intermittently.

NORTHERN LANDSCAPE :

Asset upgrade works are set to commence in the northern parkland between the Surf Club and the Caravan Park in August 2022. 

A worksite will be fenced off with no access from Marine Drive or the foreshore promenade.

Works include the replacement of picnic shelters, lighting and bbq, new pathway connections, and formalisation of the dune maintenance edge.  

The dual use path and surrounding parkland will remain open but some modifications to access may be required intermittently.
