PIJF Competition Terms and Conditions – City of Albany 2023 – Perth Cabaret Collective

1. The promoter is: Perth International Jazz Festival Inc (PIJF) of PO Box 635, Joondalup WA 6919
2. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entry to the competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, excluding staff of PIJF and Perth Cabaret Collective artists performing at the event.
4. The competition commences on Monday 8 May 2023 at 12noon AWST and closes on Thursday 11 May 202 at 12noon AWST.
5. Only one entry is allowed per person.
6. Entrants must enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner to provide proof of identity in order to claim the prize.
7. Entries submitted after the stated closing date will not be permitted.
8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9. The prize is two double passes to the Perth Cabaret Collective performance at Albany Town Hall on Saturday 13 May from 7:30pm, valued at $70 each.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
11. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
12. If any prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
13. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
14. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
15. Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the Winner.
16. The competition is a game of chance and the Winner will be chosen at random on 11 May 2023.
17. The Winner will be notified by email and/phone within four hours of the prize draw.
18. If the Winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within one day of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the Winner and pick a replacement Winner.
19. The Winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the Winner or any other entrants may be disclosed to a third party in relation to securing the prize for the winner without the entrant’s prior consent.
20. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter.
