Proposal to Dispose of Property Regional Express Pty Ltd - Portion Albany Regional Airport Terminal, 34516 Albany Highway, Drome

The City of Albany proposes to lease and licence a portion of the Albany Regional Airport Terminal to Regional Express Pty Ltd (Rex) for a consideration of $1.00 ex GST per annum. This arrangement is underpinned by a Fixed Annual Revenue Agreement which ensures the continued regular public transport airline services under the current agreement between the State Government and Rex.

The lease and licence for a term of 4 years, 9 months and 1 day from 2 October 2023 to 2 July 2028 facilitates airline services in partnership with the State Government.

It is a requirement of the Local Government Act 1995 that this proposal be advertised for public comment.
