Road Closure - Albany Highway, Wednesday 13 August 2025

Water Corporation wishes to advise that traffic management will be in place to close a section of Albany Highway on Wednesday 13 August 2025 to carry out essential repairs to the Chorkerup Tank.

The highway 30km north of Albany will close at 11am and is expected to reopen at 11:15am, with detours in place between Chorkerup Road, Redmond and Millstream Road, Green Valley, including Wilcox Road.

Separate detours will be available for light vehicles and heavy vehicles. Please follow all traffic management to ensure the safety of our crew and the community.

Water Corporation thanks the community for their patience and cooperation while this important work takes place. Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journey and plan ahead to avoid delays.
