Background
The Albany Motorsport Venues Incorporated (AMV Inc.), is A not-for-profit entity that will own, manage, and maintain the facilities at the Albany Motorsport Park.
As part of the governance model agreed with relevant stakeholders, including the City of Albany, the AMVI board has 7 directors, two of which are nominees of the City of Albany.
Request for Interest - City of Albany Nominee Directors
The City of Albany is seeking written requests from persons interested in being appointed as one of the City of Albany's nominee directors to the AMVI board.
The term will be for a period of 2 years.
Renuneration, if any, will be a consideration for the AMVI board.
Desired Skills and Experience
The City of Albany nominee directors will have skills, qualifications and experience in some or all of the following:
- Australian Institute of Company Directors corporate governance and director training and qualifications
- previous experience as a director or senior manager of similar sized organisations
- strong corporate governance background
- strong accounting and financial literacy
- legal qualifications
- risk management
- environmental, noise and rehabilitation management
- health and safety
- corporate affairs and community liaison; and/or
- motorsport
