Traffic Impacts in CBD for Lighting the Sound
Published on Monday, 9 March 2026 at 7:54:12 AM
The City of Albany advises there may be traffic congestion in the CBD across the three upcoming weekends due to Lighting the Sound, a large-scale light installation presented by FORM as part of Albany 2026.
The installation will operate from 6pm until 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday each weekend.
For the best viewing experience, attendees need to be on the town side of Princess Royal Harbour. As a result, increased traffic is expected in the CBD and surrounding areas.
