Pool and Spa barriers

The barrier must be installed before the swimming pool or spa is filled with water.
The person nominated as the builder on the Building Permit must notify the City within seven (7) days of completing the swimming pool or spa and its associated barrier.
To notify the City, the builder must email the following forms to [email protected] :
The City will then arrange an inspection to confirm that the pool or spa barrier complies with the applicable requirements. Once compliance is achieved the City will issue an inspection certificate.
