Building Plan Search Request

If you would like copies of Approved Building Plans for your property, you can request the City to retrieve them by submitting the following search request form. 

Fees are applicable and are included on the form.

Plan searches will only be undertaken where the request is signed by the property owner. An applicant may complete the request with the owners signature.

To request a copy of building plans:

• complete the search request form
• ensure the owner has signed
• pay applicable fee (see request form)
• email or drop off the request form 

Copies of approved building plans are kept in the City of Albany archives. More recent plans are stored electronically.
