gARmenT Matinee Showcase
Matinee runway event showcasing stunning wearable artworks created by Great Southern artists, designers and makers.
City of Albany’s gARmenT Wearable Art project has engaged over 50 local artists, community group members, students and industry professionals to create unique and original wearable art pieces that will be presented on the runway at this matinee showcase event.
Join us at Albany’s iconic Town Hall to view these amazing wearable artworks modelled on the runway at this free family matinee event.
The event will also feature contemporary dance performance Don’t Waste the Planet, created for gARmenT by Sym Parr and dancers from Albany Contemporary Dance.
Audience numbers are limited so get your free tickets early to avoid disappointment!
Doors open 1:30pm, show starts at 2:00pm
