Schools, community groups, businesses and everyone in between are invited to register their floats for this year’s Christmas Festival and Pageant.
To encourage the whole community to participate, this year’s Christmas Pageant is free for every group to register.
Festivities will kick off on Saturday, 3 December with Christmas Markets and live music in the Town Square and Alison Hartman Gardens.
The Christmas Pageant will commence from 6pm along York Street, bringing the entire community together.
Manager Community Relations Louise Paterson said she was looking forward to seeing Albany’s creativity on show.
“The City of Albany’s Christmas Pageant brings so much colour and festivity to the CBD, and we know how much the community enjoy this event,” she said.
“We really want to encourage as many float entries as possible.
“The Pageant is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your community group, school or business to the Albany community with the Christmas Pageant usually attracting over 8000 spectators each year.”
Float registrations are open until Friday 18 November 2022.
