Soulty Sol Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Soulty Sol is Albany’s new stand-up paddle-board and ocean-play crew offering inclusive, beginner-friendly activities for all ages. For the Australia Day event at Emu Point, we propose a lively mix of anchored and gentle free-movement SUP sessions, circus play, beach games and interactive ocean-awareness moments. These activities are not cultural sessions. They are purely recreational, family-friendly experiences designed to keep the community active, engaged and connected.
Participants can enjoy SUP try-it moments, kids/family play sessions, beach-based movement games and circus activities including juggling, Hula hoops, balance play and creative movement. We also bring crystal singing bowls out on the water for a soulful sound session that adults and children love. We offer short, friendly chats about beach safety, tides and ocean awareness. Our footprint is small, low-impact and fully flexible to suit crowd flow and event timing.
Soulty Sol supplies 10 SUP boards, a professional anchor system, and two qualified instructors experienced in SUP, circus facilitation and group safety. We follow strict safety procedures, provide lifejackets for youth, and run sessions in supervised 15–20 minute rotations. Full public liability insurance is included. If water conditions are unsuitable, all activities shift seamlessly to land-based beach and circus play.
We aim to create a joyful, energetic and inclusive community experience that celebrates the fun of summer at Emu Point.
