Community Development Strategy Review

The City is reviewing the Community Development Strategy.

Community development is not an activity, but a process or a set of principles that enables communities to grow and change according to their own needs and priorities.

The Community Development Strategy outlines how the Community Development Team works, and informs the following plans, charters and strategies.

• Health & Wellbeing Plan 
• Youth Friendly Albany Plan
• Age-Friendly Albany Plan
• Access & Inclusion Plan
• Reconciliation Action Plan
• Communications & Engagement Strategy
• Compassionate Communities Charter

Community is invited to give feedback by: 

• Completing the online survey. Hard copies of the survey are available by contacting the Community Development Team on 6820 3023.
• Visiting the City of Albany Stall at the Albany Agricultural Show.
• Attending one of the Community workshops
