MindSpot GP: Free Digital Psychological Support
Feeling stressed, anxious, or just not yourself? MindSpot GP Digital Psychology is here to help.
MindSpot GP is fully WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) funded, and offers free, short-term confidential psychological support to people living in the Great Southern through easy online and telephone-based care. You don’t need a mental health plan, and there’s no cost to use our service.
MindSpot GP works with your GP to provide confidential psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments for residents aged 16+ experiencing mild-moderate anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, chronic pain, or psychological distress related to ongoing health conditions.
After your GP sends a referral, you’ll receive a welcome SMS and email within 48 hours. You can then start your online assessment. All MindSpot GP services are offered by telephone (up to 4 calls with your therapist) or online 8-week iCBT courses with optional weekly calls with your therapist, so your treatment can be completed in the comfort of your own home. You’ll also get access to helpful tools like quizzes and videos.
Most people report an average 40 – 50% reduction in their symptoms, with improved wellbeing and daily life. 95% of users say they would recommend MindSpot GP to a friend.
If you’re 16 or older and facing emotional challenges, ask your GP to refer you to MindSpot GP. Visit www.mindspot.org.au/mindspot-gp for more information.
