The City of Albany advises that an appealable notice has been gazetted in the Western Australian Government Gazette on 1 August 2025, confirming the formal approval of the Noise Management Plan (NMP) for the Albany Motorsport Park.

The NMP, developed in collaboration with Albany Motorsport Venue Inc. (AMV Inc.), outlines measures to manage and mitigate noise impacts associated with Motocross Precinct activities. It reflects a commitment to balancing recreational use with community expectations and environmental standards.

The gazettal of the appealable notice enables affected parties to lodge appeals under the Environmental Protection Act 1986.
