Mount Melville Tower Works and Temporary Closure

The iconic Mount Melville Communications Tower is about to receive a contemporary new look as part of Albany 2026.
From late September through to early November, work will be underway to transform the tower with a site-responsive mural, creating a lasting public artwork and legacy for Albany 2026.
If you're visiting the area during this time, please be aware that works will be taking place on site and access to the tower may be closed.
