Mr Nathan Watson

Nathan was appointed Executive Director Community Services in December 2020.

He joined the City of Albany in 2015 as Manager Communications and Events, playing a key role in major event projects such as the Field of Light and Centenary of Armistice to conclude the Anzac Centenary Commemorations.

Prior to working for the City, Nathan honed his leadership experience across a 15-year career in regional and suburban media, successfully leading and mentoring teams to become high achievers and establishing strong community and stakeholder relationships.

Nathan has also held leadership roles at both a local and national level for special-interest groups, and enjoys playing local sport and nature photography.
